About Us

Meet the Inspector, Marcel Gratton

After spending several years in the construction industry and renovating homes, I decided that it was time to take the next step in my career. Home inspection was a perfect fit for both my interests and talents.I have completed an intensive training course through Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario and then spent countless hours studying a variety of home systems and talking with professionals in many trades. Finally, I founded my own company, On The Level Inspection. Since then, I have been busy performing home inspections throughout the region, educating clients on the condition and functions of all the major components in their current or future homes. My goal in providing a home inspection is not just to point out concerns in a home, but also to educate homeowners about the home’s systems and proper maintenance.

I am also a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) and a member of the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors (iNACHI).

       CPI

These affiliations require continued education and strict adherence to Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. As such, my inspections and reports adhere to and exceed recognized Standards of Practice

I very much enjoy working with homeowners and prospective homeowners in helping them make educated decisions.

Warmest Regards,

Marcel Gratton, Inspector

I am a National Certificate Holder.

The National Certification Program evaluates and certifies home inspectors and recognizes them as qualified professionals in the industry. It is the only program with test inspection with peer review (TIPR) and third party evaluation. The TIPR process assures that participants are “tested” against the accepted performance level for conducting a Home Inspection to industry recognized “Standards of Practice”. And that the inspector performs the required “due diligence” when dealing with the client.

The National Certification Program is recognized throughout Canada in every province.
